It is hard to believe that just three years ago the corner of Whitelock and Brookfield was a garbage strewn vacant lot. Through the work of Whitelock Community Farm and hundreds of volunteers and supporters, the lot was transformed into a source of healthy food, education, positive activity, and inspiration.
Whitelock Community Farm is now expanding operations to a vacant lot across the street to allow us to double our current production. This will require increased funding and a lot of volunteer hours. But we know that with increased production, we will be a more sustainable organization.
