Farm Manager

First Intern for oldest Black owned farm, The Greener Garden Urban Farm. Former Black Church Food Security Network Garden Coordinator.  Weed Warrior and Tree Keeper for Recreation and Parks, Baltimore City. 2017 Achievements for the Down South Afro-ecology Encounter (Durham, North Carolina).  2016 Future Harvest Beginner Farmer Trainee Phase I. 2013 Master Gardener - University of Maryland Extension Baltimore City. Farming passion originates from family farm in Fort Mitchell, Virginia.

Nyasha Dixon,
Market & Outreach Manager

Nyasha Dixon, is a Baltimore based social enterprise entrepreneur. She fosters a plethora of talents and interests ranging from within the arts to the sciences such as, but not limited to: (i.) entertainment & media concepts, ideas, screen treatments, story lines, plots, characters; (ii.) grant proposals, research and development, designs, specifications, interactive features, content sharing models; (iii.) business models, revenue sharing strategies, operating policies and procedures, and marketing strategies. Her inspirations in life come from that which she is passionate about. She states, "I am passionate about love. Love is the root of all that’s beautiful in the world. Regardless of the type of work I do or who I do it for and with, I want the work to become a part of our history, to enter our collective memory and our collective consciousness. I hope to serve reminders of our past tragedies and encourage everyday people to stand for something."


Wykeem Franklin, 
Programs Manager

Developing a love for the outdoors at a young age while working with The New York Restoration Project to revamp his neighborhood creek. He started volunteering at WCF in 2015 when first moving to Reservoir Hill, Baltimore. Remained involved & furthered his role at the farm by co-leading our YouthWorks summer program 2017 & 2018 as well as going on to start Saturday community fitness gatherings helping advance community engagement & promote wellness in Reservoir Hill.




Volunteers from our neighborhood and all over have come to help out at the Farm. This help has been vital to the farms growth and sustainability.
